Pipeline company CEO says Alberta premier supports an Indigenous rights challenge to Ottawa’s regula
For the last few months Eagle Spirit has been saying it plans a court challenge of the tanker ban bill and now they are saying they will also challenge the new Impact Assessment Act. They are looking to Alberta to help fund their court challenges. The Kenny government has created a $10 million litigation fund to back First Nations legal actions in favour of resource development.
