Wet’suwet’en Nation hereditary chiefs launch climate lawsuit against Ottawa

Wet’suwet’en Hereditary Chiefs Smogelgem (Warner Naziel) and Kloum Khun (Alphonse Gagnon) have launched a legal challenge against federal approvals for the Coastal GasLink pipeline claiming Canada has a constitutional obligation to adhere to emissions targets under the Paris climate agreement.
